Good Multimeter in Budget
6 July 2018
It's a Good Multimeter with Cat II 1200 volts rating means it can easily withstand a surge of peak upto 6000 volts..I have tested it upto 2000 volts nd it didn't get demaged..it is safe in all ranges upto voltages of about 250 volts..
And it can measure upto microamps which can be useful for mobile or logic control repairs..I M using it for a year now and it's working fine and battery life is very good I have changed batteries only 2 times
Disadvantages:- it is a copy of Vichy vc97 which is itself a copy of fluke117b so this multimeter is a copy of a copy..
You can't check LEDs with it and capacitance measurement doesn't work well..There is no real input protection except the two small PTCs which are connected on only two lines and the there are no clamping devices either.
I m myself an Electronic designer but this is what you get from a cheap priced multimeter can't expect much so thumbs up👍
