5.0 out of 5 starsA must read for all aspiring solopruners and enterpruners
22 July 2018
I have been a fan of Miss Malini and her social media posts and channel for long. So I immediately bought the book within the first few days of its release.
The language is very normal mostly in first person. Do not expect any highfy English jargon here.
The book is basically an autobiography of Malini Sharma and how she became Miss Malini of today. The book is like an inspiration for those who want to do something of their own.
I would surely recommend to read the chapter of her personal encounter with Bollywood, her concept of Brand building and how networking is very important today in the arena of social media, how her life partner is an important factor for what she is today which is so well described by her.
So read it and awaken the enerpruner skill within you.

1.0 out of 5 starsLiteral illustration of don't judge a book by it's cover.

It wasn't interesting.... I was thrilled to read the tittle but the content doesn't do justice. It is her journey but not her real story. It's more like acknowledgement note or an instrument for her PR machienery. It not a fearless attempt of a writer to impress book lovers. Can't recommend.

Frankly, it was quite poorly written and boring. However the author is clearly talented and good at her work and has had an interesting life. Potentially it could have been written as a racy thriller and she’d have had her own bolly movie script.

This book is perfect for all the Bollywood buffs out there since Malini talks a lot about her experiences with film stars and celebrities who have made it big in India! It's also very informative about how blogging can become one's career path and how to actually get started with your own blog. Another thing I loved about this book is the role of positive and motivational wording used by the author!

5.0 out of 5 starsThe remarkable story of an incredible woman. How she made it - and how you can too!
9 January 2018
Format: PaperbackVerified Purchase
Packed with hilarious celebrity anecdotes, down-to-earth business advice, and loads of inspiration, this book is a must-read for aspiring bloggers, digital influencers, social media marketers, or anyone looking to make sense of the digital revolution.

The first half of the book is dedicated to Malini's incredible journey from "diplobrat" to backup dancer to India's first and most famous celebrity blogger - a story of determination, grit, and unabashedly following your dreams.

In the second half Malini reveals the tips and tricks that helped catapult a young, ambitious girl from Delhi into a national phenomenon, named by the Huffington Post as "India's most famous blogger" and widely recognized as India's first social media influencer. In tune with the 21st Century, this first-hand advice is delivered in the same fast-paced, witty and relatable style as the rest of Malini's story, making it a unique and indispensable resource for aspiring entrepreneurs who are tired of the usual business tomes.

Most of all, Malini is a gifted communicator and writer, whose infectious personality shines through the page, making for a thoroughly engaging, entertaining, and truly inspirational read.

3.0 out of 5 starsDull boring
2 March 2018
Format: PaperbackVerified Purchase
Very lengthy and stretched... especially the tweet parts at the book feels like inserted forcibly.they also interrupt the flow. Then the individual testimonies are so boring... the author looks self obsessed with her glory.... We are already reading about your journey why putting the testimonies of every rich n famous of Mumbai?
