The storyline was good and the characters well described . But being a fan of Danielle steel books and reading all the other books, somehow the ghost appearance did not feel like her book. It felt different but showed family unity and importance. Overall was entertaining.
The book is simply not gripping. The concept fascinated me to buy it but seems like the writer got so occupied in detailing the unnecessary things and got distracted. It took her several chapters to write about mundane lives to reach the actual plot. The editor I feel did an inefficient job because each sentence has at least 3-4 'and'. It left me bemused and irritated. So much of pointless repetition did not help either.
