Not so good
18 November 2018
To be honest, this book should have been named the unending coldwar. The first half of the book covers mostly cold war encounters between CIA and KGB. It was totally boring and let down.
The second half of the book becomes interesting with the mentions about Afghanistan and how the tussle for domination ended in the unending war in Afghanistan. The ending of the book is also good. Thoroughly enjoyed reading the mentionings of Afghanistan, ISI and RAW. The book could have been much better if it was written more specifically atleast about Asia, instead of generalizing the global espionage scenario. If you are aware of espionage stuff you'll get bored, freshers may like this one
