Use the Alexa Privacy settings page to access and manage data from your interactions with Alexa.
To access the Alexa Privacy settings page, go to Alexa Privacy.
The Alexa Privacy settings page is also accessible in the Alexa app. Open the Alexa app, go to the menu, select Settings, Alexa Account, and then Alexa Privacy. Then log into your Amazon account.
The Alexa Privacy settings page allows you to:
Voice History shows your voice interactions with Alexa. You can filter by date and choose an entry to see details, listen to, and delete recordings associated with your account.
Alexa receives information about the status and use of third-party smart home devices. Examples include the state of your connected switches (on/off) and thermostats (set temperature, household temperature). You may delete the third party smart home device status history associated with your account.
You can use skill permissions to manage the data you provide to Alexa skills:
Recordings from a diverse range of customers help Alexa work well for everyone. With these settings enabled, your voice recordings could help in the development of new features and improve transcription accuracy.
