Using Alexa on Mobile Accessories

Enable the Alexa Voice Service on compatible mobile accessories, such as headphones.

You can enable Alexa on your compatible mobile accessory to play music, request information, news, weather, and more.

To get started, you need:

  • The latest update from your accessory manufacturer
  • A compatible Alexa-enabled mobile accessory
  • The latest version of the Alexa app, installed on smartphones with iOS version 10+ or Android version 5+
  • An Amazon account

To enable Alexa on your mobile accessory:

  1. Pair your accessory to your phone's Bluetooth.
  2. From the Alexa app menu, select Alexa Devices.
  3. Select Add Alexa Device, and then select Alexa-enabled Headphones.
  4. Select your accessory and follow the instructions in the Alexa app.

Note: Alexa-enabled accessories may not support all Alexa features. Contact the product manufacturer for more information.

Having Trouble?

Clear any Bluetooth connections to previously paired headphones or mobile accessories.
