Receiving E-mail Subscriptions

When will I start receiving my subscriptions?

Some subscriptions are sent out on a regular monthly cycle and some are delivered less frequently. You can get more details on when to expect the next mailing by reading the subscription list description.

Why don't I receive my e-mail subscriptions?

If you've signed up for an e-mail subscription but didn't receive it in your mailbox, please check the following:
  • Check your e-mail preferences: Confirm that you haven't elected to receive only the most essential communication from Amazon.com. You can check Your Communication Preferences to ensure that the very last check box on the bottom of the page is unchecked. If the box has been checked, your e-mail subscriptions automatically will be disabled.
  • Verify your e-mail address: Check to ensure that your e-mail address is correct on Your E-mail Subscriptions.
  • Check bulk or junk e-mail folders: Check for messages from Amazon.in in the bulk mail folder of your mail client.

What do I do to always receive my subscriptions?

Anti-spam software can sometimes be too aggressive and block legitimate e-mails. To ensure that your e-mail subscriptions always reach your inbox, you can "white-list" e-mails from Amazon.in. This tells your spam filters to let messages from Amazon.in through. The method for white-listing varies from mail client to mail client. Typically you can add the address in the "From" line of your most recent subscription e-mail to your Address Book.

Alternatively you may be able to select an e-mail from Amazon.in and add the domain to your safe senders list or mark it as "not spam." Please refer to the documentation for your mail client or contact your Internet Service Provider for instructions on how to white-list messages from trusted senders.

Managing Your E-mail Subscriptions

How do I know which notifications I'm subscribed to?

You can visit Your E-mail Subscriptions to see all e-mail subscriptions that you currently receive. You can read the description for each e-mail subscription by clicking on the name. You also can choose to unsubscribe from one or all of your current e-mail subscriptions here.

I love Amazon.in e-mails about my favourite products and artists. What do I do to receive more notifications?

We recommend you take a look at our entire list of subscriptions. Maybe you'll find something else that interests you. We are gradually developing new notifications and subscriptions, hoping to cover all your interests.

I receive too many e-mails. Will my inbox be full due to this?

You can choose the volume of e-mail that you are comfortable receiving from Amazon.in. Most e-mail subscriptions are sent out only once a month. You can start by signing-up for only one or two e-mail subscriptions at first. If you don't like any of them, you can click on the unsubscribe link available at the bottom of every e-mail that we send. After you unsubscribe, you will get one last notification e-mail confirming the change in your selection. You will then stop receiving that particular subscription.

If you love our timely and informative newsletters but don't want them in your inbox, you may be able to set up a "mail filter" or "mail processing rule" to automatically move messages from Amazon.in into a folder of their own. Please refer to the documentation for your mail client or contact your Internet Service Provider for instructions on how to create mail rules.
