A clutch of three very different short stories make up debut author Piyusha's offering. The common vein of the three stories echo the collective clutch - events which all transpire in a day. Each story is able to hook the reader from the word go, till the unexpected climax in each. The genre for each story is different; whilst the first- " Writer's Circle" is a whodunit laced with some quirky humour, the second " Happy Birthday Saisha" is hard hitting drama which has the power to make you cringe and your heart bleed. The pick for me was the third " Elevator Tales" which explores unrequited love with a sledgehammer for its ending. The three stories will engage you in an un-put-downable fashion for about three quarters of an hour and Piyusha's easy narrative style will keep you engaged. More power to your pen Piyusha and look forward to reading more from you!
