The book gives a good insight into the recent security related events during the present government's tenure. It does give a ringside view of certain actions carried out by the Indian Armed Forces, be it the raid in Myanmar or the terrorist attack on the Pathankot Air Force base.
Certain insights into the changes in foreign policy with the now not so new NSA and PM have been touched upon. This does give rare insights as to how the inner machinery of the system works and the deliberations that are dwelt upon prior to commit the Nation's security apparatus.
The book though appears to be written in a bit of a hurry and gives perspectives from the Indian viewpoint, mostly. A few odd proofreading oversights also were noticed.
Overall a good read for someone who wants a quick peek into the events affecting the security of the nation.
