The book is an excellent read to have some insider information of the behind the curtain politics and power struggles surrounding Indian cricket between 1983 and current time. The author, an eminent cricket historian of our times told the chain of events lucidly. In the final chapters he also dwelled upon the power struggle and politics of the common man v royalties in the early parts of Indian cricket. However the continuity somewhat broke between 1960-1983 period on which not much was written. Once again, this is an unique and extremely insightful book for cricket lovers.
