KASHI - The finale for the Devta Trilogy starts off with the recollection of past events. Vineet Bajpai brings in a brilliant mix of mythology, history and a tinge of fantasy in this epic ending. The characters of Dwaraka Shastri, Vidyut and other lead characters are perfectly set for the climax. The story is gripping and is quick in narrating each and every detail of the events and incidents that take place throughout this book. The secret of the black temple is revealed in an orderly manner which keeps the reader turning pages eagerly to find out the secret which lies within the pages of Kashi. Vineet successfully blends in the facts of past historic events to the premise of the book making it an interesting read throughout and the epilogue is a thing not to be missed. The author drops enough hints in the book for his upcoming books with few untold stories and unexplained characters that appear in Kashi: The Secret of the Black Temple.
To summarise the review, Kashi is a brilliant book and a must read for readers who love mythology-fantasy-thriller genre as the book is fast paced and definitely a thrilling experience and on a rating scale it would be 4.5/5.
