I think all of us would enjoy reading this. Well written, without the storyline trying to be pretentious, parochial or pompous. The events as they unfold will make you pause and reflect, on people, situations, choices, decisions and destiny. I have loved the picturization of events and life then and left me yearning for more.
I even told my son, here is the India Game of Thrones (of course I got are you crazy looks ;-) But seriously, the build of characters, the frailty, frivolousness, greed, ambition, commitment is never in your face as the pace builds up. Sure, most of us have read the Ramayana in some shape and form and yet, you dont want to put this down.
I was quite disappointed when the book finished. The next part of the book, on Sita has been bought already. Thank you Amish!
