It's been hardly 6 months since i bought this cooker and experiencing a dangerous problem, steam passes through the side of the cooker. As a result whistle doesn't come on time and water evaporates. Took it to service center but no respite, was told I should close the lid properly. I requested to change the washer but they didn't. Finally i got the washer changed by myself, after few days again the same problem.
Reaching out to their customer care is another task, we can reach only through emails, Pigeon's parent brand is Stovekraft and they aren't on facebook or twitter even they lack a proper escalation team to handle issues. I doubt the credibility of the brand now. I have decided not to buy any thing from Pigeon as there products are "use and throw" after sales service is pathetic.
