1st of all I m very frequent user of Motorola Mobile, Previously I had Moto X Play which had some issue related to display & got damaged. But the warranty period was expired so it could not be repaired. still I bought Motorola G5 S Plus 5 month later. Now the charging data cable is not working when went to the service care in delhi they told that the cable pin is damaged such as their should be 5 circuit and now there are 4 circuits etc to avoid the replacement & it can not be considered in warranty though warranty period on accessories is 6 months. I think in a datacable there may be only issue with the pin and if company cannot replace it in warranty period of 6 month then what is the value of the warranty. They further told that if there is not any damage or cut or any problem with the cable still if cable is not working then they will replace. What a funny statement. In their opinion I think buy the phone take the accessories carefully put them in a box and dont use (if u will use it may damage). Just one day before expire date find the accessories and check if they r not working then go to the service care then only can they replace them. Very useless logic...If u dont want to give the warranty then need not to mention it at the tym of buying it. Though Motorola is a good brand its service is very poor & its a good lesson that not to buy the products.
