I was scpetical about chrom os but as I purchased it I was surprised that it's actually better than windows. A combination of Android apps with some linux apps does the job for me.
As for the product it self it's worth it. For almost 26000 you get a good touch screen, a good backlit keyboard, decent screen and the best part is it's battery backup. I really miss a hd display but for the price I'll take it. As far as the proccesing power is concerned it's on a weaker side as it does not play hd content quit well. And my laptop in general heats while charging. The overall design of the laptop is great it looks fantastic. For office alternative use libre office from snapcraft Or flatpak it will do the job wps office works fine. The gallery app is great in chrome OS as it does everything you throw at it. All things are covered overall. Chrome OS is not bad it has AUE till 2029 which is great. No fuss of downloading large updates like windows thank god. Overall it's a good product. The chassie of the laptop is weak it should have been more sturdy but at this price point I won't complain it hurts hp reputation.
