About the author

Long long ago, in the lazy summer days of yore, when time was aplenty and gazing into the meadows a national past time, in the musty pages of an old aging book, Vidhya discovered her joy of reading. One day, by the seashore, she wrote an abstract on life, perhaps, that defining moment kick-started her journey as a writer.
'Aranghya & Jahar' is the first book of the Bandahar series. The second book in the series 'Bandahar & Jahar' will be out by March 2019. The series is expected to have at least three books capturing the journey of the main characters Shikhanderi, Ishanya, Vikrant & Binodhini.

Coming back to ny experience, this is a 224 pages read but when i was reading it I didnt felt it too long. The story was divided into chapters. And these chapters were amazingly named and kept precised.
Loved the vibe of the book. Also the cover of the book has a strong portrayal and dark vibe which beautifully captured the essence of the story.

These lines in the blurb of the book were enough to make me pick this book.I dont know what came in my mind which made me read mythology fiction in Feb month.I took whole month to read this as I was having other things going in my life simultaneously.
Anteran and Veerini is a beautiful story which is sequel to the Aranghya and Jahar which I read somewhere in November or December. After a gap of one month,i was surprised when i saw I was able to recognise the characters, i m very bad at it!
But this book had something in it.The author has an amazing writing style which I guess no one who had read this book can deny.A story with multiple characters, with a good pace and an engaging and unique plot is very hard to find. So,if you are looking for anything like this then this is your pick!
Feel free to pick it up.It will be engaging for the beginners and the avid readers too!
