Its been "8-months" now : I'm using it as my primary device.(25-11-2022)

"Now I think heating issues is resolved completely in this device.
In past few days (30-40) days I experienced negligible issues related to heating. Barely heats during charging & I think that's common/ obvious because of 120w charging.
up. As compare to 6 months back 85 to 90% of optimization had been done in heating department.
IQOO is optimizing the device well "GREAT WORK" & keep it up.

*Edited* ~ After Android -13 Update (global version) (4.9GB size) :-
=} Camera app updated , now the front camera is improved & also added 4k 60 FPS in video recording , & little changes in interface. Camera department improved a lot in this update - 9/10
=} A little improvement in battery department also.
& I'm not facing any bugs/issues right now.

My Review & Ratings : As per my 8-months experience. (25-11-2022)
{ In Short : It is a "performance centric" smartphone with great "camera" & "build+design." }
Ya , you can call it an "ALL-ROUND"
smartphone :)
1) Design & Build : Design is subjective but , for me Its one of 'The Best' looking smart phone. I just love it from the beginning.Build is Also just awesome , sides metallic and premium glass back , excellent top notch build. Combined Build & design make this smart phone a very premium device. You can feel it for sure. {10/10}
2) Performance : 888+ is not 100% optimized so far , but with 4 Updates alot optimization had been done by Iqoo. Personally I never faced any problem related to performance , No lag , Its just run like a butter in any task. Just a little heating issues but I say most of the heating issues had been resolved by Updates (60 to 65%)*No heating after 8 Months* So ,{10/10}
3) Battery : For me better is just Phenomenal. I don't know why people complaining about battery. Its easily gives me (7 to 8H) of SOT in medium use & upto 6 H of battery in heavy gaming+recording. Average SOT - 6:30 to 7:30 , I don't know what people expect from 4350 MAH battery. According to the battery , the SOT is excellent. {10/10}
4) Charging Speed : Its just ⚡. Full charge in just 19 to 20 min. 0 to 50 in just 5 min. {10/10}
5) Camera : Back camera is great , can say one of the best best camera in the segment. But front camera is not that much good. I don't know why , it has 16 Mp front camera but picture quality doesn't look that great or best according to specifications. I think it needs optimization in front camera department.*Fromt cam optimized in Android 13 update* Now perform better than before.
VIDEO RECORDING : Experience is very very satisfying with gimble stabilization , works just great. {9.5/10} Just need to improve front cam.
6) Display & Sound : No complain , Top notch {10/10} (but doesn't support dolby atmos).
7) UI Experience : I never faced any major problem with this UI ( Fun touch os ) , You can coustomized your phone in many ways . Previously I'm a Stock UI user as compared to that ya , I can say it doesn't feels that much great but No problem with fun touch os till now. Minor bugs fix & Little optimization needs in UI department. Although I can't find any issue in the UI till now. But as per others openions : They say better UI options are available in the market in this segment.
From my prospective : I only used two UI so far , For me it is good. {9.5/10}
8) Coustomer support : Is also very good. All Updates are in time {10/10}
9) 5G : Eight 5G bands that will be supported in India (600 MHz, 700 MHz, 800 MHz, 900 MHz, 1800 MHz, 2100 MHz, 2300 MHz, and 2500 MHz) All these 8 bands are present in this device. So , Its a complete 5G device. {10/10}
10) Gaming Experience : There are so many features related to games in it , that increase the overall gaming experience. "Monster Mode" , "Dual - Monster Touch " and many more unique features. Dual X-Axis Linear Motor to provide the good haptics experience , Advanced Liquid Cooling System enhance the gaming experience. {10/10}

If just brand or a name matter for you.
But I say IQOO is now a well know brand too.😅
In Short :
This device just need Optimization in :
•) Front Camera : Need much improvement & optimization in front camera. (No improvement till now)
•) Heat Management : (60 to 65% heating problem solved) in 5 months with help of "4" updates. Needs full optimization in heat management.
•) UI : Also need to optimize the UI(Fun-Touch) OS little bit.
Except this the device is "TOP NOTCH" in every department.
After some optimization in the above ' 'department' this device will surely become "The Phenomenal One", "The Best" ,"The Around Beast" , "The True Legend"
Believe that.
{When the optimizations I mentioned above will be done by IQOO I'll definitely rate it 5/5)
