The single most poignant true-life story to emerge from the Second World War In July 1942, Anne Frank and her family, fleeing the horrors of Nazi occupation, hide in the back of an Amsterdam warehouse. Anne is thirteen when the family goes into the Secret Annexe, and over the next two years she vividly describes in her diary the frustrations of living in such confined quarters, the constant threat of discovery, hunger and tiredness and, above all, boredom. Her diary ends abruptly when she and her family are discovered by the Nazis in August 1944. Anne died while imprisoned at Bergen-Belsen, three months short of her sixteenth birthday, but this acute account of her life and the world around her reveals her as more human, more vulnerable and more vital than ever.

Reading this book is really worth it.
You get to see how difficult it was for them to survive at the time of WW2.
Anne frank who starts writing her diary at a very young age of 13 expains everything they have gone through while they were hiding during the assassination.
Such a young girl with a talent merely anyone others would have at that age.
I would definitely recommend reading this book.
Very interesting book which describes the way the Jews struggled/fought to survive in the period of WW II.
How much is she thirst for love and care, but !!!
Situation makes everything unrealistic. It kindle our inner being.
What is mother care and how it will comforts thw child... Some texts make us to laugh, to cry, to astonish, teary etc. Kind of must read book for the teenager.
The book shows Anne's life amongst the world war, witnessing those roaring guns, thundering bombs and clamouring voices. The reflections of lines 'after the war', 'my kids' and 'can't wait to be home' are heart wrenching.
I am very picky when it comes to books, I don't like reading biographies, novels and especially diaries but this book is seriously good.
Can't believe a young girl wrote this. Very satisfied.
Good binding. Nice letter printing.
Good quality pages. Happy. Except delivery by amazon transport was bad. The book got all warped. That is only the sad part. Otherwise Fp publication books are of good quality.
