Amazon.in launches the Amazon Now app for customers in Bangalore
- Customers in Bangalore can now shop for a wide range of everyday essentials from their local kiranas and other favourite stores
Bengaluru, February 03, 2016: Amazon.in today announced the launch of the Amazon Now app for customers in Bangalore. Using Amazon Now, customers can now shop for over 6000 everyday essentials from their local kirana stores and other local favorite stores including BigBazaar, Reliance Fresh, Bharat Petroleum In & Out, Godrej Nature’s Basket, Food World and have the products delivered to their doorstep within 2 hours or at a pre-scheduled time. Customers can download the Amazon Now Android app from the Play Store (link available at www.amazon.in/now) and enter their local pin code to start shopping.

Customers can now choose more than 6000 products from the ecosystem of kiranas and other favorite local stores and get these delivered using Express –in two hours or Scheduled deliveries. Customers shopping on the Amazon Now app will be able to search, discover and choose from a wide selection of products- across categories including snacks, beverages, cooking staples, beauty, personal care and household basics. They can get a range of products from eggs, breads, juices, soft drinks, chocolates, jams, exotic teas, biscuits to shampoo, toothpastes, soaps , diapers and more from hundreds of Indian and international brands
Amazon Now is enabled with two new delivery services – Express Delivery (two hours) and Scheduled Delivery offering customers the convenience of getting their everyday essentials delivered within 2 hours or at a pre-scheduled time. Amazon Now offers free delivery for baskets above Rs 250, and for baskets lower than Rs 250 a delivery charge of Rs 29 for Scheduled Delivery and Rs 49 for Express Delivery.
Customers simply browse the Amazon Now store, add products to their basket, and checkout by choosing Express or Scheduled Delivery.
