Amazon launches its Customer Service facility in Pune

Pune, August 6, 2015: In line with its commitment to raise the bar for online shopping experience in India and offer customers’ unmatched convenience Amazon Development Centre (I) Pvt. Ltd. today announced the opening of a Customer Service facility in Pune. This is Amazon’s third Customer Service facility in India after the two sites in Hyderabad set up in 2005 and 2014 respectively.

The facility will support and with pre and post order customer service through various mediums like email, chat, phone and social media. It will also host teams that provide support to Amazon’s operations in India in the form of training, workflow etc. The center will help create employment for hundreds of Punekars.
