Amazon provides opportunities for over 6500 associates this shopping season
Thousands of seasonal positions will be available across the Amazon fulfilment network and additional associates at the Customer Service sites to build increased capacity for faster order processing
This additional strength will support the upcoming Great Indian Sale from January 20 – 24, 2018
Bengaluru, January 14, 2018— Amazon today announced that it has created more than 5500 seasonal positions across its India network of fulfillment centers, sortation centers and delivery stations this shopping season. In addition, Amazon’s customer service sites have added close to 1000 more associates to cater to the increased customer demand. Furthermore, its Service Partner stations which are spread across the country have also hired additional seasonal associates to enable faster deliveries for the Great Indian Sale (January 20 – 24, 2018).
These positions have been created in Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Chennai, Bangalore, and many other cities across the country.

Associates who have been provided opportunities specifically for the festive season will join the thousands of associates at Amazon’s 41 fulfillment centers, more than 25 sort centers, close to 150 delivery stations and 350 Service Partner stations across the country to help pick, pack, ship and deliver customers’ orders more efficiently. Amazon has 13 Customer Service sites across 12 cities and provides voice support for customers in Kannada, English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. The Customer Service sites support Amazon customers in India with pre and post order customer service through various mediums like email, chat, social media and phone.
