1.       Go to Your Content and Devices on Amazon.com(Not Amazon.in, but Amazon.com) from the Home Page by pointing on "Accounts & Lists" in the top right corner.
2.       Open the Settings tab.
3.       Go to the Country Settings section, and select Change next to your current country.
4.       Enter your new address, and choose your new country. Then select Update.
5.       In the notification that displays at the top of your on-screen, select the "Learn more" link. Then select the option to "update your default Kindle store."
6. De-register and Re-register your Fire TV stick, by going to Settings>Account on your Fire TV screen.
That’s it! Please click on “Helpful” if this resolved the issue for you :-).

Answer:
No, there's no provision to see offline movies that way. However, if your hard drive is connected to Wifi, you could try an App Service called Plex which streams your offline movie catalogue on the TV Stick. Plex is available on FireTV Store.

Yes, you can sideload any android app in your Fire tv stick. For web browsing, you can use any browser such as chrome. There is a youtube app for fire tv stick in the app store. Hope this helps. :)

If you are referring to casting, yes, you can use it in the same way with the Screen Mirroring option in Settings. Amazon Video cannot be cast directly with Chromecast. Also it allows apps to be installed on the fire stick. I have both Chromecast and Fire Stick. Checkout out my review for a detailed comparison.

Answer:
It doesn't have a battery. So, you need to charge when you use it. But you can keep it always powered on for quick access.
You can use the USB slot of the tv to power it with a usb to micro usb cable ("samsung charger")

Yes. Long press the Home button and you will see option for Screen Mirroring.
