Heated styling brush works as a blow dryer, I mean the result is that of blow dried hair. Curler is only for perfectly round curls. This brush won't give you proper curls, it will just give waves.

The golden part is the metal which heats and thus styles your hair, touching that when plugged to power supply is as touching the metal plate of an iron box (amount of heat is quite less in the styler comparatively) so it's expected if the earthing is not so good. Also after use keep the styler on a heat resistant surface

Hey Manjari,
If you hair is slightly wavy this works awesome. But if you hair is very curly and voluminous I would suggest you to use a hair straightener. But please use a heat protectant spray/serum, if you are using any styling products on your hair
