It's features are as follows:
This controller looks the same as the one introduced with the original Xbox one back in 2013.
1) The main new feature introduced in this model is Bluetooth connectivity through which you can connect this controller wirelessly to your Windows 10 PC (if it has bluetooth) without the need to buy the official xbox wireless USB adapter that Microsoft sells.If you wanted to connect the earlier models of this controller to a PC,you needed to have that adapter,however, not with this model you don't need that.
You can also connect this controller directly via USB if you don't want to connect wirelessly.
2) It has a 3.5mm jack at the bottom through which you can connect any headset for use while gaming.Howerver,do note that if you connect this controller wirelessly through bluetooth to a windows 10 PC without the above mentioned official USB adapter the 3.5 mm jack gets disabled and you won't be able to hear anything if you connect a headset to it and the mic won't work too.You can however use this jack perfectly fine if you connect it via USB though.The jack also works perfectly fine when connected via the XBOX wireless USB Adapter to a PC.
Note that this is only applicable while using this controller on a PC.
3)The wireless range on this new controller is also better than on the previous model.
4)It comes with 2 Duracell Alkaline Batteries in the box.This is my only gripe with the controller and the reason i reduced one star as i feel that Microsoft should have included a rechargeable battery with this controller like Sony have been doing on the DualShock 3 and DualShock 4.I don't understand why Microsoft does this,it feels so 90's in my opinion.I thought that Microsoft would have introduced a rechargeable battery with the controllers that come with the Xbox One X but that doesn't seem to be the case either.
5)This controller works well with Steam on PC and most games have native support for the Xbox one controller and in those that don't this controller is emulated as an Xbox 360 controller.So no issues there..
BTW,there is an official Microsoft Play and charge kit available which has a built in rechargeable battery which you can buy and use on this controller if you don't want the hassle of buying regular alkaline batteries every time they run out.But be warned that this is a costly option.
Overall this is a pretty decent upgrade over the previous model and works well on Windows PC's too.

The Xbox one controller has been the undisputed king of controllers for windows for quite sometime now.
No controller has come even close to it.
The PS4 controller if used for windows is quite good but is no competition for this controller. And other 3rd party controllers are a little too expensive for their reputation and credentials.
What I liked about this controller-
1. Unlike the previous Xbox 360 controller, it doesn't require any USB receiver, it connects directly via bluetooth. Just set up the controller via control panel the first time, next time it connects automatically when turned on.
2. The controller is quite compact, as it sits comfortably in the hands.
3. The buttons are very smooth, responsive and sturdy. The overall build of this controller is quite sturdy.
4. Has a port for earphones/Headphones.
5. Connectivity is excellent and no lags have been found. The response rate is quite good.
What could have been better-
1. The grip can become slippery with sweat.
2. The buttons are not premium for a controller that costs Rs.5000. The quality of plastic used in buttons and joysticks are subpar.
Verdict - If you are in search for the best controller for windows (PC or Laptop), then this is the best controller in the market.***
The price should have been a little low, but the controllers are imported, so therefore it's extremely difficult to get a sweet deal.
***(Well not technically the best controller, because the best controller is the Xbox elite wireless controller series 2, but it costs around 11000).
An advice - If you can wait for sometime, you can get a better controller when the Xbox Series X launches. It will be a new generation of controllers that will be future proof.

The transparent part to the controller, half way up adds a unique look and stands out above other controllers.
Please note; this is no way as good as the Elite controller, the Phantom edition is simply just a design. I was also disappointed this version didn't come with some grip pads on the back - not a massive issue but for gaming comfort, the grip is good (pretty sure you'll get this on the Elite)
Overall, it's still 5 Star - I knew what to expect when buying and I purely purchased this due to the design, I wasn't expecting this to improve my gaming skills.
Good build, cool design, nice to game with!
I’ve added a couple of pictures for comparison to orgininal controller - hard to capture the transparency but trust me when I say, it looks great in real!
