In this book Levin elaborates the bridge between our reflection of self-worth and the state of our net worth. She explains how dealing with money issues is directly proportional to about how we deal with ourselves. The book provides ten steps to experience her belief which Levin wants us to understand. In each step Levin offers an amount of exercises and examples to work through our limiting belief. Some anecdotes are written in a manner that explain this concept better.
There aren't any technical financial advice or information on funds, and investments. This book falls under the categories of inspiration, and motivational. The writing is smooth and does not have a major effect on the book overall as this is a nonfiction book. The length of the book does not have any affect over the context either.
I enjoyed reading this book and I think if you decide to pick this one, it's worthy of your time.
4 out of 5!

This book is aimed at women. It is obvious from the way it is written. And, having read it and done the exercises, I can with all enthusiasm recommend this to every woman who is old enough to read. At the same time, I found it so helpful for me, and so I also recommend it for men, for the obvious benefit of gaining greater self-worth, and for the perspective it presents of the women clients Nancy has helped and their situations and feelings about relationships and marriage and how money affects them.
I rave about this book and I think that it contains mountains of value for anyone who desires to partake. I've learned a lot in my life, and this helps bring many things into clarity about how I have dealt with money, and more important, how I have felt about it. I see now how much self-worthiness is a determining factor in any person's life. I am very grateful that Nancy took the time, energy, and used her experience to present this subject in this way. I am invigorated anew.
We pick up so many beliefs unconsciously from our family, peers, education system, television, you name it. Money doesn't grow on trees. The rich are greedy. There's never enough to go around. Whenever I get ahead, something always happens. That's for others but not for me. I don't deserve nice things. Some people have all the luck. The rich get richer and the poor get poorer. The list is endless. It seldom occurs to us that the wealthy don't think that way at all.
As a wise sage once said, "It is done unto you as you believe." And if we've learned anything from medical science and the placebo affect, the subconscious mind is the builder and destroyer of the body. Our beliefs truly create our reality. The rub is that our subconscious beliefs order our universe--not our intellect. And most of the time we're unaware of those hidden programs running our lives.
I've been studying manifesting for a couple of years, and I've become very good at manifesting things I need. But when it comes to bringing in a decent income, I hit a wall. Levin claims that this wall is a sum of beliefs in my own self worth. I never thought of it as a measure of self worth, but it makes perfect sense. We can really have only what we think we deserve.
Levin shares her own money story and provides numerous examples from her clients with limiting beliefs that prevented them from increasing their net worth, breaking out of dysfunctional relationships, pursuing career goals, etc. This book has many exercises to help you uncover subconscious beliefs and excuses for why you are not prospering in your income, relationships, and life goals. This is truly a powerful book that will help you change your money picture if you're willing to do the work. Highly recommended.
