Walk down a major city street anywhere in this country on a sunny Saturday afternoon, and you will see more and more of these "interracial couples" strolling along, hand-in-hand. Here in NYC, it seems like every third couple is a "mixed combo," as the old "stag movies" used to say!
Mr. Persaud's book examines this phenomenon in sometimes hilarious, sometimes aggravating, but always fascinating detail. His mind is unique, and his take on interracial relationships will either leave you wanting to shake his hand, or strangle his neck.
He is also a great writer. The book moves. Once you start it, you won't be able to put it down.
If you are interested in how--finally--the races can now "mix" with impunity, and not have to hide their mutual lust for each other, a la Strom Thurmond, then buy this book, and read it, and then go and follow your heart.
