The cooktop is not the same one as shown in the photograph but looks slightly different as far as the control panel is concerned. It almost has the same presets and buttons as Philips Induction cookers - On/off, Manual, Roti/Dosa, Gravy, Temp, Deep Fry, Slow Cook, Pressure cooker, Timer, plus Adjustable temp/watt setting Indicator with power setting 120W,500W,800,1000,1300,1600,1800,2000 Watts, with corresponding temperatures 60, 100, 130, 160, 180, 200, 220, 240 degree Celsius.
Except that the fan is a little noisy, it has been functioning admirably so far. Setting the timer is a little bit tricky but not difficult once you get the knack of it.
A quality product at that price, one can buy without second thoughts.
(In a comparative test of ten different Indian Cooktops, the Westinghouse Induction Cooktop was adjudged the most energy efficient. The current model is the same one but with the Indian preset menus in the control panel as aforesaid.)
