Wandering for love
Wandering for love is a beautiful story of Fenin brown - a young, buoyant and careless boy whose erratic daily schedules included getting up late everyday, taking showers and getting ready in a jiffy, sometimes without having a proper breakfast and then riding his bike to the college to meet his friends. He had no interest in books or studies. Fenin and his father didn’t get along much and had different school of thoughts on important matters. One day, a guy from the college offered Fenin 1000 bucks for beating his friend’s brother. Fenin accepted his offer to beat Michael but in turn got beaten up by Michael. As a result, he passed out. A beautiful girl who happened to pass by, rushed him to the hospital and immediately left, after informing his parents and paying hospital bills. That day changed Fenin’s life forever. He couldn’t forget her green eyes and immediately fell in love with her. He wandered in search of her. He found love and was totally changed from a reckless guy to a different individual altogether.
He met the girl after he saw her in a book store. He developed love for reading books because of her. He was lost in books for hours and hours and his mother was happy that he was spending his time in books than video games. She felt happy for him.
But his happiness was short-lived. Indeed, destiny has its own cruel ways. After luck did not favour him, he became depressed. Soon he got disinterested in everything and lost his appetite for life. Finally, when he met his therapist, his wandering for love ended as he found solace in a dream.
The author has very beautifully portrayed the relationship between Fenin and his two close friends and the craziness that they shared while having fun at the “Our Swimming” sessions. The friends were always there for Fenin. Also, author has portrayed the image of a loving mother who is always ready with food and a good advice. That’s how moms are! Arn’t they? The readers can definitely connect with Fenin’s family and relate to their dinner time conversations and small talks between a teenage son and his mother. At such a young age, the writer has a great imagination. A must read book for all ages, teenagers and adults alike. A heart-warming tale. Do read it!
