The first time we saw the 1 SPOT, we were hooked. Everyone knows one of the biggest drags about having a sweet pedalboard is all of the janky power supplies that goes along with it. You've got to make sure you bring them all along wherever you go, yeah — but the most annoying part is trying to plug all of them in. You know what we mean... all those wall warts take up multiple spots on your power strip, so you need like four power strips to get everything going. That's why you'll welcome the genius of the Visual Sound 1 SPOT, just the way we did. This adapter takes up only ONE SPOT on your power strip or wall outlet (get it?), but it can power up to 20 pedals — totally convenient. It's time to say goodbye to those annoying tangles of power supplies and say hello to the 1 SPOT. Genius. Spring-loaded contacts in the input sockets maintain secure connections, and you can even link multiple Multi Plug 5 Cables together to power more effects! When you want to get the most out of your 1 SPOT adapter, pick up the 1 SPOT Multi Plug 5 Cable.

I did my research, and I found that when daisy chaining pedals you shouldn’t put those with too much draw on the same chain. I’ve also heard that you can daisy chain overdrives together, so that’s what I did. I daisy chained one of he isolated outputs that came out of my CS12 and chained my pre-amp, three overdrives and a booster. Even with all of them on I don’t get any noise. Success!
I haven’t had any problems with this daisy chain plug but I’ll update if anything goes out.
5 stars. You can trust 1 spot!
I cannot use my MXR flanger (original model) with the 1Spot. I believe it just needs more power. I can hear the MXR, but it distorts the notes whenever the 1Spot 5-pedal adapter is used. If I plug in the original Jim Dunlop adapter back into the MXR it works fine again.
I think that this is a decent power adapter, but they should let you know that it definitely can be a problem if you're trying to power other pedals that need more than the standard 9 volts.
The cord length is good, with enough distance between plugs to plug most accessories in without leaving a lot of cord hanging around, though if you have a larger pedal with the power input in a weird location, you may need to use the end plug or a separate power cord. Also, the spring loaded connector to the 9 volt power source is very nice to help prevent it getting accidentally separated during use.
Dollar for dollar, once of the best investments you can make for managing your power supply for your effects devices.
