I avoided this stuff for years because I thought it was all hype and overly-promoted on YouTube... and I was right. I won't deny that it forms a good base for eyeshadow. But what you have to be careful of is that your eyeshadow covers the ENTIRE primer base. The texture of the primer is such that it dries into a solid like a facial masque or Halloween latex.
You can FEEL that it's there. You can SEE that it's there. You'd better hope that you don't have any crow's feet, because it will only make them look crepe-y and more intensified. It magnifies the color of your foundation at the edges of your eyes in the same way it magnifies the color of your eyeshadow. You'll see a clear delineation between the edge of the primer and the edge of your foundation.
I feel like the word "primer" is a misnomer for this product. An eyeshadow base it is, and an excellent one at that. But for anyone who wears foundation, you've got to be so careful with this stuff that it's really not worth it. I prefer just using and setting a BB cream on my eyelids. My eyeshadow doesn't go anywhere when I use a BB cream. This is unnecessary.
