"Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection" is a "Remastered Version" of 3 of the most "Well-defined" games in the "Action-Adventure" genre which were originally made for the "PlayStation 3" and were the "Best-Selling" games for it.
When I had bought the "PlayStation 3", this was the "First Game Series" with which I got acquainted with and had played all the "3 Parts" of this series on the PS3. And I truly loved it.
So when I had recently purchased the "PlayStation 4 Pro," I was really confused as to with which of the games should I play on the PS4 Pro as there are "Tons" of games released so far for the PlayStation 4. According to "Metacritic," the "Best Game" for "All Time" on the "PS4" is "Grand Theft Auto V". So I was thinking to buy that at first, but then I thought again and after much and much thinking, I decided to go with "Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection" as my "First Game" to play on the PS4. And the "Reason" to go with this game was simply because this was the "First Series" which got me acquainted to the world of "HD Gaming" on the PS3. So as paying a "homage" to this "Beloved Series", I decided to play it again on the PS4. And let me tell you, after playing all the 3 Games, I can say that I do not regret my decision of playing it again!!
So here is my "Detailed Review" of all the "3 Games" in order:
1. Uncharted: Drake's Fortune:
Being the "First Part" of the series, when I had played this game, I gotta say that I never had a "Smoother Gameplay" experience until now. If you have played this game on the PS3, and if you would play it again on the PS4 as such, then you would definitely notice that there is more to this game than being just a "Remastered Version"(and for all the games in this series). Apart from the "Graphical Enhancements" i.e. in "Full HD@1080p Resolution" and with the better "Frame-Rates" at "60 FPS", you would notice that "Bluepoint Games" have added so much of detail in each and every frame of this game, both in the "Cutscenes" as well as in the "Main Campaign". And that is a wonderful achievement for a game which is more than a decade old from now. And those people who say that this game in particular was poorly conceived in terms of its graphics and gameplay, believe me, when you would play this game on the PS3 today, it still looks great as the graphics were pretty dope especially at that time when most of the game developers were unaware about utilizing the complex hardware of the PS3 efficiently. But "Naughty Dog" had excelled at this and had created a great game, using the system to its maximum capabilities. You are introduced to the "Main Protagonist" i.e. "Nathan Drake" along with his "Mentor" i.e. "Victor Sullivan" and a "Reporter" i.e. "Elena Fisher" who set out to find a secret lying behind a statue called "El Dorado". With loads of shooting and hand-to-hand combat and finding hundreds of treasures, you can't help but fall in love with this world of treasure hunting at its best!!
2. Uncharted 2: Among Thieves:
Being the "Second Part" of the series, and being the most "Critically-Acclaimed" part on the PS3, Uncharted 2: Among Theives is a worthy sequel to its predecessor in every way and the "Longest Game"(in the "Entire Series"). Apart from the "Main Characters"(previously mentioned in "Drake's Fortune") and with the introduction of "Supporting Characters" like "Chloe Frazer" and "Harry Flynn", Nathan Drake embarks on a journey to find the "Cintamani Stone" in the lost city of "Shambala". The gameplay in this part is drastically improved in many aspects like the mechanics behind shooting and stealth combat and with an intriguing storyline, this is, in fact, the "Best Game" in the entire series and you would have an amazing time playing this part until you would play the 3rd part of the series.
3. Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception:
Being the "Third Part" of the series, with a new storyline and with just the addition of a new supporting character called "Charlie Cutter" along with the "Previous Characters"(including "Chloe Frazer"), this game makes us explore the "Childhood" of "Nathan Drake" and his friendship with "Victor Sullivan" and how they go on to explore a mystery hidden in a "Desert City" known as "Atlantis Of The Sands". What's more, this game depicts the "Inner Journey" of "Nathan Drake" and how he comes to be deceived by everything around him which is a great addition, in terms of storyline I think. Although in terms of "Gameplay", it is somewhat shorter than its predecessor, but this game, has the "Best Production Value" in terms of the epic-scale in which this game has been built. And it is also, a "Worthy Sequel" of its predecessor which can be played again and again. Since "Uncharted 2" has been defined as the "Best Game" of the series by various sources, I still think that "Uncharted 3" is a "Great Game" by all means and does not lack too much behind its hugely successful predecessor!!
And the "New Features" in all these games, which are exclusive only in this "PS4 Version" are:
a) Continuous Speed Mode: Which can be described as a "Time Attack" mode as in this mode, you have to complete this game within a limited amount of time(although I have not explored it yet but have read from other sources).
b) Photo Mode: Which you can use just for capturing "Screenshots" of your "Favourite Moments" during each game. You can also share "Video Clips" with the "Share" feature of the PS4 anyhow.
c) "Explorer" and "Brutal" Mode: The "Former" is the "Most Easiest" level mode while the "Latter" is the "Most Difficult"(more difficult than the "Crushing Mode") level mode in each game. You can complete the game in either of these "Difficulty Modes" apart from the usual "Easy, Normal and Hard" modes.
So there you have it folks, 3 great games at a great price indeed. You won't get any better deal than this as its not just 1 game but 3 "Full-Length" games in a "Single Disc" which is very rare to find in any "Gaming Platform" as such.
Plus, the "Seller"(Amazing Dreams) from whom I have purchased this game had delivered this game within "3 Days" of ordering it. Their delivery system is fast and reliable.
So in a nutshell, those of you who haven't played the "Uncharted Series" before, trust me guys, you won't be doing any "Disservice" to yourselves if you would buy this collection, you are in for a "Golden Treat" and would be thoroughly satisfied after playing these "Last-Gen Classics".
And even to those of you who are already familiar with the "Uncharted Series" and have played it before, although it would be entirely your "Personal Choice" whether you would like to buy this game again for your "PS4" or not, you won't be doing any harm if you would like to "Re-visit" this "Critically-Acclaimed" series. As it is Critically-Acclaimed for a reason and only you can know the reason if you would purchase this game again. The experience, for me, was equivalent to playing it for the "First Time" again!! For me, all the "3 Games" have a "Great Amount" of "Repeat Value" and are on par with each other!!
Therefore, I'm happy with my purchase and I hope you would too.
Hope this review has been helpful to you.
This compilation is remastered version of three Uncharted games. There are three game titles in one bluray disc.
Uncharted: Drake's Fortune (PS3)
Uncharted 2: Among Thieves (PS3) and
Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception (PS3)
Uncharted series comprise of catchy story along with great characters and awesome music. Nathan Drake's adventure journey is really unforgettable. There are many puzzles to solve. Graphics of this series are damn good. You will feel that there is a movie going on and you are the hero of that movie. Uncharted 1,2 and 3 were originally launched on PS3. This collection is remastered version exclusive for PS4 with 1080p resolution, 60 frames per second, better lighting, textures, and models. This game also implements a "Photo Mode" where the player can freeze the game at any moment to take personalized screenshots, derived from Naughty Dog's other remastered entry, The Last Of Us: Remastered (PS4) . There are many locations where you will use the photo mode and create awesome screenshots. After finishing the game you will feel emptiness for sure. And that's the right time to purchase Uncharted 4. This series is worth every penny. Naughty Dog is the best game developer around.
I ordered this game from the seller Cloudtail (Fulfilled by Amazon) with 39% discount. I usually prefer this seller for my every purchase on Amazon. Cloudtail disappointed me this time because there is a barcode sticker manually pasted on the box and under that sticker it is mentioned that "Not for Resale" (see last image). I think this is not a retail copy but a freebie. I am not returning this game just because i am eager to play Uncharted and it is working perfectly. Dear Cloudtail, you are one of the most trusted sellers on Amazon. Please don't do this.
Thanks for reading. Happy gaming.

Coming to Part 2: A fantastic start to the story: Finding yourself hanging on a cliff in a dislodged train coach and literally pulling yourself to go up and finding a relic and going into flashback... Amazing way to start the game... Meeting the two thief's Chloe and Flynn and embarking into the adventure is awesome. After few chapters, You move to Nepal, seeing posters in Hindi in the market was incredible. Most amazing part is when they bring Elena from the first part of the game and our protagonist is in a love triangle. The Thapa (Tenzin) plays a great part tough we do not understand his language a bit (Wish subtitles were there).. Encounter with the Him-Manav (Not until the villain clarifies that they were humans) were another amazing thing. If anybody have seen the movie Mummies, They can relate Shambhala to Shangrila less: Local people of there. Even the ending is great for this one.
Part:3, The Second chapter is great when we see that Nate is like this from his childhood. Picking up things.. Going after the treasures. The first encounter with Tablot at Dubai is amazing. Than the story goes 20 years back to Columbia, To France, Seria and than to Yemen. However , I am expecting to see Mummies after encountering Spiders again and again. Will edit this one once end the third edition. It is a must have game for those who have not played the series yet. I finished Last of Us before starting this and I must say, The game is upto the mark.
