In this Anubhav Sinha movie, Shekhar (Priyanshu Chatterjee), a business professional, accidentally kills Amar Shah (Rakesh Bapat), the owner of the Canada-based Shah Industries. Amar’s family, along with his fiancée Pia, are devastated. Shekhar feels guilty for killing his associate and decides to make up for the void in his family and the declining business. He goes to Canada and asks for a chance to restore Shah Industries, eventually making his way into the hearts of family members and becoming close to Amar’s fiancée Pia.
Meanwhile, Abhigyan (Himanshu Malik), another Canadian tycoon falls in love at first sight with Pia and offers to buy Shah Industries, to which Shekhar disagrees, leading to a conflict. Shekhar decides to leave for India. Pia confesses her love for Shekhar, but his rejection leaves her with no choice but to get engaged with Abhigyan. Later, in India, Shekhar gets drunk, confesses to his crime and to his love for Pia before he meets with an accident. Love finds its way when Amar’s family and Abhigyan tell her to go back to Shekhar because he is her true love. Pia must now choose between the two men, and find out where her heart really lies.
