Some friends are special, because their stories are special. Stories that are innocent, beautiful, colourful and different in their own way. This is one such story of friendship and its journey to love. A Journey in which they were not together. A typical middle class lad, and a mealy-mouthed mummy-papa boy, Vishwas never imagined that in just seven days life will twist his roads and leave him at place he had never dreamt of. A typical middle class girl, a go-getter, and indefatigably correct when it’s between the two, Shailja always believed that one day her life will be at crossroads. Wreathed in smiles, with his bag of dreams, aspirations and youthful reveries, Vishwas sets off on his dream journey from his small world in the tranquil foothills of the Himalayas. But soon the small town boy’s dreams and fantasies are hijacked by the pace and character of the big city he lands in. The roller coaster called life derails from the path he chooses and goes amok refusing to stop, until he discovers a truth he hadn’t imagined. What happened in those seven days that changed his life forever? Will he accept what the destiny unfolds? Will he fight? Will he run? Or fate has something else in store for him? ANMOL RANA : Anmol Rana is working as a scientist in DRDO and lives with his family in Dehradun, Uttarakhand.

Read this beautiful story which is the tale of the love cum friendship between vishwas and shailja and the life vishwas experiences in those 7 days of visit to Delhi . The life of a big city , different characters and initial adjustments are beautifully explained .
The cover is very eye catching with the bold use of colours . The concept of boy standing on the skyscraper in a metro city and the girl on the mountain of a small city gives a sneak peek about the story to quite extent . The title is very apt as it describes the complete story in just 3 words .
It is a perfect amalgamation of friendship , love , separation , emotions and adjustments . The characters are portrayed very well and the language is very lucid . The narration is simple and the plot is also nice . Also the idea of diving novel into 7 days and each day being divided into different time slot is very unique . Best for people who love to read light romance novel .
Would love to read more from the author .

Those seven days is the story of a guy who left his city for a job in a big city and after leaving his job what happens to him in just seven days. These seven days turn his life upside down and the girl whom he hated most, his best friend since childhood, Shailja becomes the most important part of his life. This is a light romance but I liked the concept and the way the story is being portrayed.
Small city mamma's boy Vishwas leaves his comfy life behind when he gets a job in Delhi. Since the moment he stepped out of his house life started playing with him. Each day he experiences something new, some sweet and more bitter, and even ended up in jail. Will the small city boy be able to cope up with the harsh realities of big city life? What will happen when the person whom he hated most will become his dearest and is on verge of dying? Will he be able to get up and fight? All answers lie within the pages.
The cover is a bit childish with the bold use of colors but cute. It has a picture of a boy standing on the skyscraper in a metro city and the girl on the mountain of a small city. It gives a sneak peek at the story and the whole concept. The title is also very appropriate as the story is about what happens to the protagonist in 'Those seven days'. The book is a light read and one can finish it in a go without losing interest. Yes, the storyline was predictable and led to the loss of interest sometimes. Language used is simple but the narration is quite good and impressive. If you are looking for a light romance then go buy this book without any second thought.
Those 7 days is such a story of friendship between Vishwas and Shailja. The next door neighbours and best friends from their childhood to adolescence. What happens to this friendship when one day Vishwas decides to go to Delhi for his job from Dehradun. How he going to face the big city? What are the things waiting for him? How he get rid from his friend who playing him as dice. Lot more genuine real life happenings.
Shortly the story is of whatever happens in Vishwas's life on 7 days from his journey to Delhi and until his return to Dehradun, from the excitement of first day job to various new experiences in Delhi he faces were written so grippingly.
The author beautifully written the problems and insecurities faces by new comers in a broad metropolitan city, the initial adjustments in job. Twists and turns happens in Vishwas life is so realistic and very interesting in simple manner.
Overall, " Those 7 days " is the rivalry between friendship and love with realistic emotions and feelings of two genuine hearts.
