I was feeling anxious last night and decided to pick up this book I recently bought. Ruskin Bond books have always been my stress buster. I started reading the first chapter and that was that I finished it one sitting (I was lying in bed with the book). Those illustrations seemed like a perfect fit for the stories and intrigued me to explore them for a minute or so, I just wish they were colored.
Coming to the book, consists of 16 short stories and they all have to learn in the end. They might seem simple and generic but every one of them has its charm to it. One can apply them in daily life to achieve a sense of belonging in this world.
If you like reading simple books this is the one for you ♥️

One wouldn't be surprised if some of them call it a children's book, for its simplicity and shortness. There is a blessed ingenuousness in his writing. The way he weaves his memories with humour and foresight he makes the reader develop a divine and a personal connection, and this only a seasoned Bond reader will understand. These tales did reach our heart!
