I did finish the book in record time!
I found that it was very easy reading. It was at times very amusing but also informative in a clear way.
The mix of RRR and RN were well chosen, sometimes humorous and always with precision.
My opinion was: funny, clear and not too drawn out
Got hooked- extremely interesting and well written- I'm a fast reader- so I finished fast. I promise to buy several copies when it is published.

It's a good documentation of how you went about building Raven's Nest. Nice light style, easy to read and I liked the back and forths...In terms of balance there is much more of Raven's nest and not so much RRR which I'm perfectly ok with.
Mr Seshadri, MA, LLB, Retd,
At last I was able to read your interesting book. It is very informative and entertaining as I am aware of the RRR story from other sources. It made good reading.

I really enjoyed reading your book. It's not a book only on house building but on relationships. Most importantly, relationship from a successful man's perspective. The humour is the USP of the book. I can guarantee the book will sell and will have readers all across age groups.
I would give this a thumbs up and thank you for sharing your work. I would love to get an autographed copy and pre-order the book

Srini is my 'neighbour' in the Nilgiris (only about 25 km away). In many ways my wife and I went through the same pain of building a home in the hills by remote control. In our case, it was easier as the structure was built when we first visited the site. However, we struggled for a year with the builder, electricians, plumbers and carpenters doing the round trip from Bangalore to Coonoor once a month. So we have deep empathy with the author and his ‘fictional’ wife.
‘A Tale of Two Homes’ is a great read and is a must buy not only for fools like us who want to build their home but for all lovers of a good story.
This book is a complete inspiration for me, as from a surgeon to a writers journey explaining family, Challenges and achieving the set dreams in spite of all the odds. I would definitely recommend this book to all the readers and request Dr. V Srinivas to continue writing.
I personally came to know Dr V. Srinivas as an uro-onco surgeon who eventually operated on me on the 15th of Nov.
I was fortunate to have his book at the hospital on 17th itself and I could not give up reading, even though I was only on saline drip at that time.
I realized that Dr Srinivas not only cuts and stitches people but he also has another tool through his pen for healing his patients while they are still convalescent.
By profession, I was an advocate practising in the High Court and Supreme Court. And I am amazed at how he has got all those facts about the Indian judiciary so straight.
By reading "The Tale of Two Homes" I feel the itch of visiting his homestay property "Raven's Nest" as soon as I am fit enough to start traveling.
Keep it up Dr Srinivas. I earnestly request you not to give up writing.
I have recommended all the nurses and the other doctors at the Hinduja hospital to read this book. And I can openly recommend everyone to have a copy. It has all the material to become a thriller movie.
Dr. Srinivas describes the painstaking attention to detail, both in constructing his getaway as well as conducting his legal defense. These same qualities are also present in spades in his approach to his professional life as a cancer surgeon, which I, as a former patient, have been fortunate to experience. His refusal to take short-cuts in any situation is particularly educative in every sense.
Definitely worth a read.
So anyone, who would rather not watch some of the dreadful movies that are being dished out these days , would be well advised to buy the book and have three hours of pure enjoyment."
Highly recommended read.
