I have a 3 Bedroom apartment (about 1500 sq ft carpet area), with bedrooms on one side and living/dining/kitchen on the other side. Initially I thought 2 Decos will cover the complete house, kept one in the hallway and one in the farthest bedroom. But the signal was very weak in Kitchen and utility. Added another Deco near the entry to the kitchen and that resolved the issue.
The Deco in the hallway is my main Deco, the one in the bedroom is connected to it via ethernet backhaul. Devices connected to these two Decos give about 250Mbps on speedtest while using a 400Mbps broadband connection. Devices connected to the third Deco clock about 150 Mbps in speedtests.
The Deco app for Android is excellent, very easy to use and set up. Overall a nice investment - I don't have any wifi blindspots anymore.
