About the Author

Dr Anirban Ganguly is Director of Dr Syama Prasad Mookerjee Research Foundation, (SPMRF) a New Delhi based think tank. He is also a scholar of civilisation, history, politics and culture and is a Member of the Central Advisory Board of Education (CABE). He is the Co-convener of the Library and Documentation Department and Member of the Policy Research Department of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He regularly lectures in various leading universities and institutions across the country.
He has authored/edited/co-edited the following books, The Modi Doctrine: New Paradigms in India’s Foreign Policy (New Delhi, 2016), Redefining Governance: Essays on 1 Year of Narendra Modi Government (New Delhi, 2015), Swami Vivekananda, Buddha and Buddhism: A Mystic Link (Kolkata, 2014), Debating Culture (New Delhi, 2013), Education: Philosophy and Practice (New Delhi, 2011) Dr Ganguly has also authored numerous papers, chapters and monographs on civilisational issues, politics, education and culture. He is also a columnist with The Pioneer, The Sunday Standard and The Millennium Post.

Avadhesh Kumar Singh is General Editor, Critical Discourse in South Asia (14 volumes). At present, he is Professor of Translation Studies, Indira Gandhi National Open University, Delhi and Adjunct Professor of Humanities, Sri Mata Vaishno Devi University, Katra, J&K. Earlier he was Vice Chancellor, Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University, Ahmedabad; Founder Convenor, Knowledge Consortium of Gujarat, Government of Gujarat, Gandhinagar; Founder Head, Department of English and Comparative Literary Studies, Saurashtra University, Rajkot (Gujarat); Director, School of Translation Studies and Training, IGNOU and Director, Indian Sign Language Research and Training Centre. He has lectured widely in India and abroad on comparative poetics, aesthetics and Indology. Along with 160 papers, he has sixteen books in English and two in Hindi to his credit. Also he is Editor, Critical Practice since 1994.
