This is the second book I have read by Nick Stephenson and I am also a subscriber to his blog : Your first 10,000 sales.
This is a good book on its subject and expertly covers two sides of the Amazon equation: getting your listing right, including choosing you categories, keywords and the all important title, subtitle and description. However it also touches on the second part of the equation the blog and mailing list, building a sympathetic following and loyal readership.
I learn a lot from this book, and would recommend it to other self-published authors, although I would add some of the best material is on Nick's website and blog. There are lots of links to extra reading and sign-ups which makes this book very good value for money.
The only downside is that the book sells two pieces of software Kindle Spy and Kindle Samurai, I felt these useful tools were introduced too early, and it is worth spending some time researching Amazon categories the 'hard way' ie by hand searching them before using this automation.

As self-published author with five books already under my belt, I know how difficult the whole process is – especially discoverability. There is no “silver bullet” for success, only a lot of hard work; though the trick is to work smarter and not harder. ‘How to’ books like “Supercharge Your Kindle Sales” are useful as a way of assessing your actives against others experiences and provide an opportunity to find new / better ways of doing things; hence working smarter.
Packed with information, hints, tips and real life examples there is plenty to dwell on and take in. Time is tight for all of us. Nick hasn't padded out this book just to make you feel you’re getting value for money – never mind the quality, feel the width syndrome, but he gets over the nub of each topic with links for further reading where necessary.
This is a great resource, written in a very open and honest manner – qualities much to be admired. He has, I think, discovered the secret of expanding available time, (which he doesn’t share) either that or he hardly ever sleeps! The upshot is we, his readers, have benefited hugely from his efforts. Although assessing and reworking my own approach to marketing my books on Amazon will take some time/effort as a result, at least I know I’m not wasting my energy, money and resources.
Thanks Nick for putting pen to paper or fingers to keyboard: an invaluable addition to my collection of self-help books.

An excellent book, packed full of useful ideas and handy information. It's all clearly set out in plain English - no marketingese. I will definitely be implementing both the key words strategy and, since I cannot get Bookbub to list my book for love nor money (Phnark) the email list building advice looks like a smart way for me to go, too. So I'll start sorting my book listings out and see how it goes. If there are significant results then, since the proof of the pudding is in the eating, I will update this review if Amazon lets me edit it, and let you know how I get on.

Excellent and concise look at using keywords and newsletter to increase visibility and sales on the Kindle platform!

I can only repeat what others have said so far about Nick Stephenson's new book. This is a clear and concise little firecracker that shows you how to use strategic keywords in your metadata to improve your visibility and thereby sales in the ebook market on Amazon, as well as grow your reader base through your newsletter. I rarely buy books on marketing and I recommend this to anyone who doesn't quite "get" keywords and the importance of a newsletter.

A really good book, full of valuable tips. I'm upgrading it to a five-star review. What I particularly like is that the author has experimented and reported back on various promotional techniques. He's fast becoming a real expert. I won't divulge his real name, but I'm now a subscriber to some of his other things and have bought one or two of his products.
