I have type 2b type of curls, you can say some where in between wavy to curly and extremely dry and frizzy. I wanted a product that reduces my frizz and makes hair manageable.
This product definitely does the job and reduces the time to half. This also makes my hair soft. This doesn't give me pin straight hair, which I was not going for anyway. I have fine hair so gives me a blow dried effect.
Temperature regulation is very easy , you can adjust it to the temperature you want.
Initially I was very skeptical about buying this cz I had never heard of this brand and I am so glad that I bought it.
The only issue I have is the weight of this product, it's slightly heavy but not to heavy that you can't straighten the hair at all.
Take small section and straighten it for better results and don't forget to use heat protectant spray before using.
All in all, totally worth the buy.

Bought this over a month back and have used it couple of times. It takes about 4 to 5 mins to fully heat up. I feel it damages the hair and makes it brittle like any other heating device, I suppose. And the results last up to 2 hours max in dry weather. So i suppose less than an hour in humid weather. A mediocre replacement for flat straighner. I would recommend a great blow dryer instead.

I quite don't like going to the parlours, so I was looking for something that would help me quickly set my hair for my son's Christening, giving it a blow-dried look, without making it poker straight. Besides, a parlour visit or getting any extensive hair treatment with a young nursing child was not going to be possible. So gave this product a try - well, actually it was my husband who purchased it for me through my Amazon account lol.

While using it, the first few brushes didn't seem to make much of a difference, so I locked sections of my hair between this product and another paddle brush underneath, and combed the hair through at the lowest temperature setting. My hair got a beautifully blow-dried look within a few strokes. For those who like poker straight hair, it seems like a higher temperature setting would work.

This was my first attempt at any kind of heat treatment for the hair, and I love it that the product doesn't alter the texture of the hair much. It made for a very useful gift. Definitely recommend - this product is a saver!

It's a good product for the money..bought after so much research..lol.. I have thick wavy hair and it gives me a blow dried effect in minutes. So much faster than hot iron. Never use on wet hair.. Only dry hair with heat protectant.. I bought this mainly to smooth stubborn frizz around hairline and it works for that. Now I use it for whole hair. Biggest plus is no need to struggle with a blow dryer, a comb, brush etc..juggling.. No hot air blowing in face and no hair burning inside iron. if your hair is tangle free you can use this without brush. It does get very hot but I don't use the max temperature. It's a bit heavy but I don't mind.. Very happy with this. Hair remains smooth till next wash based on how you maintain it. Blow drying took me at least half hour and I had to iron. This takes about ten fifteen minutes in dry hair.
