Verified Purchase
I received the product in just a day even though my town is far away from major cities. So Kudos to the seller for fast delivery. I ordered the same product for my primary laptop and I ordered it again for my secondary laptop.
Now coming to the product review.. The caddy screw holes are not aligning with that of the hard disk. I tried a lot but it's not happening as such the screws are not going in totally. So I ordered a replacement which should arrive by tomorrow. I don't like the quality much but there are no alternatives available in the market. I'm happy as long as it works. I previously ordered the same product for my primary HP Pavilion 15-N204tx laptop and it installed and is working properly. I hope this will install in my Lenovo G50-30 laptop too. Pls check the images for clear understanding. If the screw holes are not aligned... The screws are not going into the hard disk and as a result the caddy is not inserting properly into the laptop even if I try to insert it forcefully and my laptop is bulging out because of that. So I don't want to do it forcefully. Therefore, I ordered a replacement which should arrive by tomorrow, hope it works... I'll update my review after the replacement...... Let's hope that it works. Fingers crossed. Thank you.

I just inserted my HDD directly and it didn't work. I was not sure what was the issue, checked reviews, people mentioned about the small switch.
It was towards left by default, I moved it manually to right with tweezer as switch is delicate and difficult to move. Once this was done, drive works perfectly without any problems.
It would have been great if manufacturer mentioned about this switch as it took a long time for me to understand the issue. If you intend to buy this caddy, I would prefer you buy the one which has labelled and accessible switches for easy access and instructions.
