Overall It's a book for the Young audience. They must read it, It's all about getting out of your comfort zone to fulfill your dreams. Even the adults will also definitely benefit from reading this book. It's really wonderful when the young author at the age of 14 writes such a motivating book. A book that everyone Must read.
Book is written by a 16-year-old Author Lubna Dongre, who was 12 when the first thought of writing came into her mind. At 14 years old, she was successful in deciding that this is it. This is what she wanna do, to write for people. To motivate them, while she herself got motivated in writing the Book.
The book starts with recognition and praise for Lubhna from various known people. In whole book covers 10 Main topics, and author make sure to cover them line by line and with subtopics. In the book author talks about how a normal teenager she was, & had this idea of writing this book came to her in 12 at midnight.
I would like to say, for an age this small I wasn’t even sure what I wanted to have for dinner. No clear path was defined when I was a teenager. Author Lubhna has surely made me realize that age doesn’t matter, if a person thinks he can do it. They can do it, everything else turns to be a Stepping Stones when we are clear about our destination.
The language used is good, and we can have many quotes take out from this book. How Author included her story leading herself to write this book is commendable. The thing that didn’t worked out for me was the length of book, its 344 pages big book. But around 150 pages are all about the author and influenced people emails, appreciations. They helped the author to write this book, so for sure they hold a very special place in author’s heart. But as a reader they were like starring in start and end of a movie. I have to be honest about this, the end emails I just skimmed over them.
For a fourteen year old girl to write a book like this is unbelievable. The book is a self-help book with everything covered. Being a teenager herself, it would be easy for her to recognise the teenager issues but to find the right solution with the right choices is practically impossible for even the ones with years of worldly experience. The book is well constructed. She has addressed the issues that could be applicable in different walks of life. The part where she has written about parents would leave us wondering how she could fathom a parent's side.
Lubhna is obviously a well read girl. Each line of the book speaks highly of how she is influenced by the books she has read. However, the theoretical knowledge has influenced the practical knowledge or it seems so in some parts of the book. But this doesn't take away the fact that this girl is unbelievably talented. The narration oozes maturity with a club of innocence. Lack of prejudice is fine quality of the narration.
This little girl's perseverance is what we all should learn from. The testimony from the top Indian leaders itself is the review of the book. If taken as yet another self-help book, it is an ordinary book but if you take it as a book written by a teenager, it is excellent. The book is a ideal example of the fact that there is nothing impossible in the world.
