Too pricy for the sound profile. I think there is a certain amount of tax added to the original price that makes me question my purchase. Althoigh its a good build but the 3D surround sound is a bit gimmicky. 3D does nothing but the minute details you get is good in the headphone. I bough it at 20K and I think its worth not more than 15K. Sould is good but not the best, and not comfortable by any means. Whoever says it, they are luying.

I wanted to love these headset but i’m a little on the disappointed side considering how expensive they are. They look and feel premium but sound quality is not great. Firstly, the bass on this headset is pretty low, its more on the treble side ( you can configure the sound to your liking but it’s very limited ). Secondly, the voice chat sound is muffled, my friends say my voice sounds worse than my 9 year old PS4 wireless Headset, which is pretty bad considering my old headset is way cheaper. Lastly, having to change your saved sound settings through ur computer is a long process, wish it had a quick toggle button the headset. Either way, the battery life is very impressive, its light and very comfy even on long hour gaming. That’s about it. Not a big upgrade compared to my 9 year old PS4 wireless headset.

Das Headset ist äußerst bequem und die Audio sowie die Qualität des Mikrofons sind sehr gut.
Der Akku hält für gewöhnlich 2-3 Tage auch beim intensiven zocken durch unf laut sich in etwa 1 Stunde (vermutlich sogar weniger) vollständig auf.
Leider hat sich in relativ kurzer Zeit ein Problem beim aufladen entwickelt, welches ich jedoch nach kurzem hin und her mithilfe des Herstellers duech ein neues Gerät aus der Welt schaffen konnte.
Jetzt nach fast 2 Jahren Täglicher Benutzung kann ich sagen, es lohnt sich.
Ich bin mittlerweile fast vollständig auf das PC Gaming umgestiegen und kann dennoch sagen das es einwandfrei funktioniert.
Im Video ist das kleine Licht welches den Akku Zustand zeigt zu sehen, es blinkt etwa alle 2 selbst.

They're comfortable to wear, nice and light and the advertised battery life is 24 hours which is a nice addition.
I've not tested this though as I tend to plug them in to charge after every session.
I plugged this into the usbC port of my ps5 to begin with, this however blocks the much needed usb port on the front of the console.
To combat this I bought a 90 degree usbC adaptor off Amazon but it created static and felt like it was causing strain on the port as it didn't lock in normally, So I used the included usb to usbC lead included with this set, it works out a little better for me as swapping from ps5 to pc is more convenient.

They sound okay, when I first plugged them in they sounded pretty quiet but since the last ps5 update they seem louder.
A selling point for steelseries seems to be "fully compatible with ps5 3d tempest audio"
But let's be real any headset even a £1 pair is compatible with Sony's 3d audio.
Speaking of the 3d audio.. it's pretty terrible the 3d audio produced by my old razor headset was much better and I could enable it on my pc too. Something that isn't possible with the arctis 7p. For £150 I expected more.
I don't think the disappointing 3d soundstage is steelseries fault as they're using Sony's tempest audio... It just sounds muffled at times, Sony need to fix this, AC Valhalla sounds completely different on PC, much better then on the ps5.
The software for the pc is okay, you can set up the EQ to your preference and it saves on the headset (carries over to the ps5), I tweaked the 'performance' preset a little and I've used that one since.
As I mentioned though the lack of 3d mode on the pc is a real letdown at this price-point, at least in my opinion.
It has a mute button on the headset (makes the light on the mic turn red), however the toggle button on the ps5 joypad works and is far more convenient, it doesn't activate the light though but providing you have the ps5 to automatically mute the mic on login it's no big deal.
It also comes with a lead to connect your headset to the joypads 3mm jack, it does seem to boost the mic volume / quality a little with it plugged in but it's still more than clear enough without it so I never use it (I prefer the freedom of true wireless that and I'm clumsy at times and I would no doubt forget it's plugged in lol).
Overall this was a solid buy, I wouldn't say they're worth a £150 price tag but if you have the money go for it, or wait for a price-drop/sale.
Hopefully they will add more features to the pc software in future updates (namely 3d audio), I'm not going to hold my breath though.
Unlike the official Sony headset the ps5 will not automatically change the audio source back to the TV when you turn them off (or visa versa). You will need to unplug the dongle or change it over manually (by pressing the ps-button, selecting the speaker and toggling HDMI or steelseries).
