We used them to power LED lights. These LED lights can run multiple hours on an NPF570 or NPF770. So we thought, "hey! We'll get a 970 and they'll last a REALLY long time."
The first thing we found is that they won't charge in our Pearstone chargers that charge the other batteries no problem. So we then bought special Sony "dual" chargers that really only HOLD two batteries at a time, but charge one a time.
Then we let them charge overnight and tried them. They died after just over an hour of use!
We must have not fully charged them, we thought. Must be that dual/single charger issue. So we let them charge for many days, and verified the Sony charger said "full charge."
I did a test yesterday and the same thing happened. They died after 1 hour of use. I can't explain it, but these things are crap.
DO NOT BUY!
