All in all - these are great earbuds and well worth the price you pay for them
With 3 separate ear bud sizes, they are always comfortable in your ears. They have excellent noise isolation due to their design, and produce amazing sound quality. They are very sturdy, I have washed them in my pants pocket multiple times. They have lived in my backpack, floor of my room, and other dirty places and still appear practically brand new. The buttons work great still, in fact the only issue that would separate them from a brand new set is a little paint chipping around the edges that come in contact with things the most.
I use them for listening to music everywhere I go, jogging, mowing the lawn, at school, and whatever it may be, these Skullcandy headphones are a pleasure to use.
These finally died. Almost two years of daily use. I route them from my pocket, through a hole, up through my shirt and tied to my undershirt, every day. Got tugged one day and one of the lines got tugged out.
Didn't want to spend so much on another pair. Wish I had. Have gone through 3 other pairs from other manufacturers since (4 months).
Ps vita headphones very similar. Might be clearer, but not as heavy or punchy.
The current ones have been through the clothes washer (3) times and are still doing well. I use mine a lot on airplanes for noise isolation. They work fairly well though not miraculously. The sound is better then anything I have bought from Sony or Yamaha for under $50. The Sennheisers sound as good or better, but they are not as durable and most in the under $50 price range don't have a mic.
My criteria is good sound without getting muddy, durability and a mic capabile enough for a business call. These meet the bill well.
