About the Author

English Text: Sadhu Amrutvijaydas is a Hindu monk who was born and brought up in the UK. As a medical doctor, he devoted a number of years to the medical profession before embarking on a spiritual journey that saw him ordained as a sadhu (Hindu monk) under guru Pramukh Swami Maharaj of the BAPS Swaminarayan Santhsa. He is an accomplished author and speaker, with fourteen books on the various facets of Hinduism. Sadhu Amrutvijaydas's profound knowledge of Hindu philosophy and scripture has found expression in his efforts to represent the principles of Hinduism for a contemporary audience. He is based out of the BAPS Swaminarayan temple in Ahmedabad, India.
