Gratitude and persistence were two area of mental attitude that really struck a chord with me. Follow in Bob's footsteps about work habits and you can't possibly go wrong. He has some great, practical suggestions here that have worked for me too. The section on salesmanship has so many anecdotes and suggestions that I can't begin to summarise them here.
The engaging manner in which this book was written enabled me to read it quickly, though I know I shall refer back to it frequently to remind myself of what I should be doing. Do yourself a favour. Take advantage of Bob's extensive experience and generosity and read his book!

It's short, sweet and to the point, reading like a sales commentator running through the sales gauntlet of techniques and method (if there ever was such a thing). All aspects are covered from getting into the right mental state of mind to the necessary work habits to generate opportunities.
Most of all the book is motivating and brings an energy and excitement to sales which few other pieces manage to capture. The concepts are simple and easy to incorporate, so you can start improving your performance as of today, or you can not get the book and stick with your current results. The choice is yours.
