For landscapes at F11 the depth of field is huge and I leave it to infinity focus.
The distant object has to be huge or the near object magnifies disproportionately. In cramped places too many heads pop in the picture, so could your foot or shadow if the sun is behind you.
The 8mm fish eye for APSc sensor cameras was my first lens for this brand and I was more than impressed. This lens has very good build quality and impressive optics. I am not too bothered by lack of AF as I would any way put this lens lens in f8 or above for landscapes. I shoot wide open only for astro work and then I focus by live wiew.
Overall a very good piece of glass. Recommended!
