Note 9 one month review and bixby button fix. (Kinda)😅

One month review: Everything is just amazing. Only thing I was afraid of was on how long it would take to charge but after testing it I hardly even noticed that it finished charging. Great phone overall. 🔥💙After using it for one month usually other phones would slow down but with this I hardly even noticed a difference it's still fast and perfect for gaming. Yet I still haven't found a single problem with it other than the fact that it's a fingerprint magnet. I do reccomend good cases like UAG or Spigen as the phone is front and back glass so if u drop it , it will crack but repair cost is not too expensive so dont worry. Oh and if you find the Bixby button annoying that when u try to increase the volume you pressed the Bixby button by mistake then an update came where u can toggle a switch to make it so that u have to double press the button to activate Bixby. Otherwise Samsung great job👏👏

Note 9 - Having speaker Issues...

I am very much sad to write this review...

I have bought Note 9 on 29th Oct, mobile looked and worked as a brand new. But exactly after 8,9 days I got speaker issues... when I am receiving any incoming calls or when I am making any outgoing calls automatically loudspeaker is turned On... while talking in phone without pressing the loudspeaker button automatically it turned On... when I am looking the loudspeaker button it indicates OFF..

Same thing when I am hearing songs in loudspeaker sometimes only top speaker working and sometimes only bottom speaker is working...

I have googled this issue and found so many people facing the same issue with Note 9 speakers but there is no answers from Samsung...

One of the top brand phone having this kind of issues unable to digest...

Now I am fighting with Amazon for the replacement...

Amazon and seller should help me on this...

Mobile Hanged & Over heating

I Unboxed the mobile on 2nd October 2019, and it was hanged on 4th october 2019 and automatically it's restarting, before hanged the battery percentage is 100 %, after issue starts battery percentage is 63%, samsung diagnostics report also enclosed there is a problem, i think they sell defective handset in Great indian festival offer..

I love everything about this phone. From Camera, S Pen, Screen, Battery, Performance, Iris Scanner and speed. Everything is just perfect. Phone finds the more light that human eye during low light/night shot. Camera is just amazing and it has better quality that cameras of other Chinese company phones that are running behind megapixel number. They lags in quality.

Switching from one plus to note9 felt like going back to the dark ages. The damn phone is slow. Can you believe it. 8gb of ram coupled SD 845 and you have wait for this wonder to switch between apps. And voila, as a bonus this beauty hangs at times. I want to get rid of this phone and go back to one plus.
After some otg updates the phone is fast and stable.

Update: my sister was very happy with the phone because of camera.! I still feel it was terrible waste of money.! That thin long look is such a wasteful design. You can hardly read anything with such thin form factor.!

For comparison my BlackBerry keyone is almost getting 8+ hours of screen time.! Obviously not as bright and punchy as Samsung but I am happy with 3:2 screen ratio. I don't have to carry a brick like not 9 which has almost same width as keyone.!

I can finally say that 9:18.5 ratio is useless.! I will never waste money again on such thin phones.

OK. Everybody knows what is good about it... but there are few major issues with this phone. If you can adjust to these then it's best buy.
- reception. Though the call quality is good but at similar locations it's reception can be zero.! I noticed that it's reception falls to zero where my bb PRIV, passport, keyone had one to two bars. My iPhone 5s had similar but both Samsung s9 and note9 has no bar or no reception. Since it is my bed area I can say it is issue with phone because location is pretty same for all phones.

- second major issue is with design. That long look looks terrible.! Just for comparison my keyone has similar usable area as note 9 even though note9 looks almost double in size.!

- typing on note9 is terrible because it's top heavy. Any case that protects all around will only amplify ugly looks so I went for back case that covers only sides... unfortunately only pu leather cases are available making it look cheaper. Without case it's very slippery and thus typing is very hard.

All other are very good but because of these I donated this phone and went back to keyone. I miss sensors and oled but at the end of day I need to use phone and keyone or priv or even passport (minus whatsup) still serves me better. Mind that I had to order keyone. My priv is little broken and passport is usable only for quality calls and best emails.

I just switched from Apple and I must say I'm enjoying the note 9..

It's an amazing device..
Also I love the S-Pen..

I was worried about a smooth transition for iOS because it handled my work email, video conferences and stuff really well..

I'm pretty impressed with the way the note 9 handles it and better..

I love the phone it's just way too efficient with my work..

What i liked
1. The build quality
Built like a tank with slim bezels and ultra sharp screen.

2. IP67 rating
This ranks very high in my requirement and what a real flagship phone(unlike the chinese phones)should have.

3. S pen
This by far is the best innovation for new form of input and is not a mere gimmick.

4. Battery backup
Acceptable for the quality and size of the screen

5.Samsung DEX
Productivity powerhouse with now DEX inbuilt with 8gb RSM and 512 GB storage

6. No cheap fancy features
Its a no nonsense business class phone for people who need to get things done. Not just a trophy phone.

What could be better
1. More options for accessories
No good cases available in the market. Even by Samsung

2. Camera
Though ranking in the Top 5 best cameras little bit of more tech seems to be desired.

Thats is it. Go for it if you want something that can be a Phone, Tablet and as well as a PC.

Performance , Looks , Features all above expectation.
Hopefully SAMSUNG pushes Android P out as soon as its out of beta.
Love the Camera , S Pen tricks , the large high res display and the expandable storage (less cloud , more local is always good) . Finger print scanner (unlock) could be a little faster , lacks a native app lock application (sorry nooo s-secure folder). More pros than cons is always a win win!!

I'll get right to the point.

Pros:
1. Excellent package and delivery by Seller and Amazon
2. Excellent offer (~12k discount compared to other sellers)
3. Fantastic screen and build quality. Literally on an other level compared to my S7 which itself was a great phone to begin with
4. No notch or cutouts. True all screen. Better than S10+ IMHO
5. EXCELLENT camera and 4k60. HEVC to the rescue regarding storage
6. Excellent battery backup

Cons:
1. Huge phone compared to my S7. Took some time to get used to
2. Not so ergonomic fingerprint scanner. I mostly use intelligent scan which is amazing
