Saviour of the Android tablet world.

In the world where iPad’s have gained dominance because of its great hardware and due to Android’s own incompetence of producing a better tablet OS, Samsung has finally managed to nailed this one. With exceptionally great hardware to smooth software integration, Samsung was able to keep this at affordable price.
Let’s begin with the Pros of this device as the cons are few to none.
1. Display: This is where your most of the money is going in. That large 10.5-inch super AMOLed panel with 16:10 aspect ratio is a treat to your eyes while reading on Kindle or binge watching on Netflix. It has deep blacks, great contrast and accurate color reproduction. For the outdoor people, the tab is very much visible under direct sunlight and can be used without any issues.
2. Speakers: With great display, you need greater speakers. And Samsung delivered it. The ever loud quad speaker setup tuned by AKG with Dolby Atmos provides you best portable media consumption combination.
3. Design: This is the thinnest tablet or mobile device I ever held in my life. My already slimmest Galaxy S10 feels thick now after using this tab. And with slim profile, the lighter weight makes it easier to hold for long your long Kindle or Netflix sessions.
4. Battery: All that great display and loudspeakers need power to run for long sessions. Needless to say, huge 7040mah battery with power efficient processor is the perfect combination you needed, and Samsung delivered it. No complaints here whatsoever. This tab hardly runs out of juice even after deliberate attempts.
(01-Aug-19) Note: After 15+ days of vigorous usage, it's safe to conclude that battery lasts for weeks on standby as idle drain is 0.1% per hour. Results are calculated manually as well as AccuBattery results. Also, the On Screen Usage time is almost 12-13 hrs which is outstanding for such big bright display. Overall exceptionally power efficient.
5. Price: This is definitely an affordable tablet considering that ultra-immersive big display along with great speakers and best in class battery. No android tablet or even iPads can compete with these factors at $400 price tag.
Neither a Pro nor a Con:
Performance: Sure, the device has a mid-range processor to keep that affordable price tag, but the Snapdragon 670 is no slouch in any way. Coupled with 4gb ram and 64gb storage with room to expand it upto 512gb, it’s clear that Samsung’s focus was more on making it media friendly and less as productivity tool.
Yes, the tab will suffer occasional stutters with lots of apps opened in background but if you’re an avg consumer you’re good to go. Gaming with realistic expectations is very much possible with medium to high graphics on popular games.
Now the Cons, else people will consider this review as biased or paid.

Edit: Purchased the Samsung's Book Cover Keyboard with it at an offer price of Rs. 3499 (normally sold at Rs. 7999) and it's totally worth it. Writing this edit portion with the keyboard cover and external mouse attached to it is lot more easy and productive than using on screen keyboard.

I had been using Tab S .I was expecting this new tab will really have something new to offer but so far haven't observed anything significant yet . screen quality as good as Tab s,audio ,storage, speed, battery performance etc..I don't find any significant improvement.i would suggest to wait for s5

I bought this tablet just for pubg.
I must say it's an amazing device graphics are too good game is running smoothly. At first I was confused wether to go for iPad or this one. But now I am really happy with the purchase.
Delivery was quick got it within 24 hrs of ordering
After using it for a month I would like to add the WiFi connectivity is very weak for the device Samsung should do something about this

First impression in 10 minutes: frustrated, tab is not able to connect to WiFi. I've tried all basic debugging and also checked with safe mode. Tried to contact Samsung care but they are still transferring chats from India to US since 1 hour.
Update: pathetic service by amazon agent but somehow after lot of tries tablet is working fine!

This tablet is all about the AMOLED screen and it delivers. Amazing screen for media. Snapdragon 845 would've done it justice. The 670 is fine for fair use but heavy usage makes it stutter a bit. For comparison, the iPad will breeze through under similar conditions. Battery life is great. The sound quality is amazing thanks to AKG tuned quad speakers with Dolby Atmos and it can get as loud as a tele - you won't believe it's a tablet. Overall I bought it for the screen and I'm pretty pleased with it for that reason. Also, the finger print sensor is great; even the expensive s4 doesn't get it. Android Pie with one UI is good and of course Android is more user-friendly than iOS any day. I've moved to this from 2018 iPad. Finally, the tablet is super light and easy to carry.

What I like - Display quality and speaker.
What I don't like -
1. Ram should be 6 gb
2. Average processor choppy most of the time
3. Very weak wifi signal. Even 6000 rupees redmi phones wifi range is better than this.
Fluctuates frequently.
4. Orientation takes long time

Seal packed as expected.. nothing to talk about battery and display because they are excellent. But only issue is the snapdragon 670 processor. It is not acceptable for this type of premium price and Tablet. At least sd 800 series should be given with this price point. For a wifi only tablet. Thats why im giving 4 star....

Screen is of superior build quality and the finish of the product is premium. Should have never bought my Kindle when I can read all comics and books on this tab, delightful reading experience which is my primary use of the product. The speaker quality is excellent given the battery and dimensions. I would highly recommend this product for an excellent mini computing environment and anyone who is voracious reader of books and comics.

Review after 2 days of use
Pros:
Very sleek and handy ( sleekest among tab), good battery life, good audio-video quality, camera is better than other tablets. Both the tab and dex mode are jus amazing. Audio recording is nice as it enhances the speech, Noise reduction is better( need to download an audio recorder) , No hang ( till now).
Con:
No stylus ( I wish they would have provided a capacitative screen stylus)
No headphone jack to maintain the sleek design ( they give you an extra c type cable with headphone jack.. so that's okay)
Overall impression:
Samsung is back in the game!
Highly recommended for purchase!

Earlier I have used iPad pro and that was given to my cousin and am looto buy new iPad and it costs around 80k. And I saw this product at reliance digital and I feel like buy it. And I got this product for 33.5k. I just want good screen quality to read books and occasionally watch some videos. I feel android is more comfortable than iOS. Overall the product is awesome. Have kindle app on your device and turn off the blue light then start read read and read.... amazing part low price..
