I have used them for 3 months now. So can sum up better now. Pros: 1. Biodegradable. If you are a nature lover, it matters to u 2. Soft.. they cause no rash aince they are purely cotton based with no net like in whisper or stayfree or some local pads 3. Good absorption for medium to low flow. Does not spread 4. Very cheap
Cons: 1. Not very long. They measure approx 22 cms long. 2. Not very broad and no wings.. 3. The adhesive is not so strong as in other pads. 4. Small pack of only 8 pads. 5. Delivery charge is higher than the price of the product
All in all, I liked them for use on low flow days like day 4 and 5, when you have trickling or low flow. Dont expect them to completely replace your current pads. The usage is purely subjective. Plus they cause no rash. Are comfortable to wear.. and best to use at home; With a satisfaction of contributing to the community since it is manufactured by some local women's self employment group, and are biodegradable.
Update: been using for a few months now. On heavy days these do leak. They are fine for the first and last day of my period and I do use them. A bit bulky but still comfortable to wear. I wish they were a little wider and flatter as the material actually absorbs very well, but it gets bunched up since it is so thick to start with. The paper on the back can be tricky on some as the two seem to fuse together a bit. Not on all, just some. Pull the paper slowly and it is fine. I am mostly happy with these and thrilled to find something that is not going to live in a landfill for a million years or get burned up into air pollution. The price is ridiculously low. I am overall happy with these, but only use them a little. A few tweaks in the design and better gum in the back and these would be great.
